As Technology Enthusiasts, most of us are constantly learning about new technologies. The Minicon is a event dedicated to sharing what we have learned with others. Given that this is not far before ShmooCon, I hope we have some folks practicing their presentations for Shmoo; I know I will be.
Still looking for a couple more volunteers to present. So far speakers have volunteered to speak about:
- Thrown Weapons Demo
- A OSX Security Primer
- An introductory explanation of sockets using basic Python
- Demo of GWT/GXT for web apps – libraries
- Forensics Primer
- Exploiting Music Streaming with JavaScript
- “Demystifying InfoSec Challenges” (if there’s time)
Come learn about what others are working on and share what your working on. This also provides a group opportunity to get feedback on a presentation and/or presenting skills (ask specifically if this is something you want). Hope to see you there.
