TexasDex will be giving an introduction to SweetHome3D this Friday, May 13th at 7PM.
SweetHome 3D is a home layout software package with the nifty ability to view the designs in 3 dimensions and generate videos. It’s not the only piece of software that can do that but it’s free, open source, and cross platform. I’ll be showing you how to use it to plan out your hackerspace, man-cave, or even plain old home remodeling. SweetHome3D is easy to install and get started on. Come watch as I explain how I used it to build the model of the space above, and you can even bring your laptop and follow along with me!
