We will be hosting a Windows 8 Metro Development Bootcamp starting Friday, August 31st at 6pm and continuing on for the weekend ending with a Application Development Competition for class participants.
Requirements
-Laptop Capable of running VMs or that you can reformat, or laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate or Enterprise to install windows 8 to a virtual HDD image and boot off of (we have 3-5 Dev computers if you don’t have a capable Laptop, very limited – first come first serve)
-Some previous programming experience
-Dedication and interest in Windows 8 Metro development (enough to attend all 3 days hopefully)
-You don’t need to know any particular language in advance
- Friday Covers C# Programming although JavaScript is another option
- Saturday Covers Design of a Metro App
- Sunday Metro App Development Contest (Must be onsite participating for prize eligibility)
